Sports Capital Grant - Funding Announcement
Wicklow Sports Clubs and Community Groups
Wicklow Sports Clubs and Community groups were allocated €5,246,084 as part of the 2024 Sports Capital Grants Scheme. This funding will go towards significantly improving sports facilities throughout the county with a focus on gender balance, environmental impact and accessibility of facilities. Two regional projects were also awarded funding, including €204,875 for The Ski Club of Ireland and €292,909 for Wicklow County Board G.A.A. to upgrade GAA facilities at Aughrim.
