Pre Draft Public Consultation Stage

An online consultation portal was created for the pre - draft public consultation stage. The portal set out the key topics that the plan will address. This portal is now closed and the content is presented in a booklet. Submissions were invited from 19 July 2023 to 28 September 2023 on this stage of the process.

A public information day was held in Wicklow County Council, County Buildings, Station Road, Wicklow Town on Thursday 14 September 2023.

Next stage of the plan making process

All valid submissions will be reviewed and considered. Over the following months the planning authority will prepare the draft Local Area Plan. Once the draft plan is prepared it will go out on public consultation for 6 weeks with submissions invited.
