Wicklow County Council is inviting applications for the Creative Wicklow Grant Scheme 2025. A total of €30,000 is available for this fund, with a closing date for submissions set for 4pm on Friday, 7th March 2024.
Now in its fourth year, this scheme supports Wicklow County Council's role in delivering the Creative Ireland Programme. It is open to not-for-profit organizations, local community groups, and arts, heritage, biodiversity, and cultural organisations, as well as venues and societies.
The scheme welcomes activities that effectively capture and showcase the richness of County Wicklow’s arts, culture, creativity, heritage, nature, biodiversity and history. Individuals applying for funding must partner with local community, arts, heritage, biodiversity, and cultural groups.
Grants ranging from €1,000 to €3,000 will be allocated to selected projects that creatively and innovatively communicate and celebrate the aspects of Wicklow’s people and place. Applications will be assessed by members of Wicklow County Council’s Culture Team, which includes representatives from the Heritage, Arts, Libraries, and Archives departments.
Applications must be submitted online at https://wicklowcountycouncil.submittable.com/submitby the deadline of Friday, 7th March 2025, at 4pm.
Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council, Cllr. Paul O’Brien, stated: “Wicklow County Council aims to place creativity and culture at the heart of communities throughout Wicklow, recognising that creativity has a positive influence on wellbeing as well as community and economic success”.

The Creative Ireland Programme is led by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media. The program focuses on encouraging participation in cultural and creative activities to promote individual, community, and national well-being.
