Eligible projects are those which provide access to parcels of land of which at least two are owned or occupied by different persons engaged in separate agricultural activities, or provides access for harvesting purposes (including turf or seaweed) for two or more persons or shall in the opinion of the County Council be used by the public on private roadways.
This scheme encourages a joint approach between the Council and groups of local residents and landowners for the restoration of public roads, mainly local or Cul de Sac roads. The CIS will be based on community contributions, contained in the application form.
