Behind the Beach 2024
Wicklow County Council is delighted to continue our biodiversity awareness programme at Brittas Bay for the Summer /Autumn season of 2024. This series of free outdoor public workshops and activities aims to increase awareness and appreciation of the rich ecology of coastal habitats and species that lie behind our popular beaches, and to highlight the vital role that healthy dune systems play in creating a more climate resilient environment.

All events will take place at the North Beach, with the exception of the Sea Buckthorn Volunteer Day which will be held at the South Beach. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
