In accordance with Section 146B of the Planning and Development Act, 2000, as amended, An Bord Pleanála has received a request for an alteration to An Bord Pleanála Case Reference JA0029 for an integrated harbour/marina mixed development at Rathdown Upper and Rathdown Lower/Greystones Harbour and North Beach, Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
The request, submitted by Sispar Limited via a Public Private Partnership (PPP) with Wicklow County Council, relates to proposed alterations to the redesign of Block D to include a mixed use consisting of 33 residential units (up from 11), the omission of a medical centre, provision of 1,351 square metres of commercial space, amendments to courtyard areas, and increasing car parking in Courtyard 1 from the previously approved 35 spaces to 58 spaces and in Courtyard 2 from the previously approved 42 spaces to 52 spaces.
Before making a determination on the matter under section 146B of the Act, the Board hereby invites submissions or observations to be made to it in respect of the plans and particulars submitted by Sispar Limited regarding the proposed alteration.
The case reference number for the alteration request is ABP-308561-20.
The plans and particulars relating to this alteration request (including the details of the request) may be inspected free of charge at the offices of Wicklow County Council, County Buildings, Whitegates, Wicklow Town, County Wicklow (the documents will also be available for inspection electronically via the Council’s website and on-line planning system) and at the offices of An Bord Pleanála, 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1 during public opening hours for a period of 4 weeks commencing on the 13th January 2021. Under section 146B(8) of the Act, submissions or observations in relation to the request may be made to An Bord Pleanála (“the Board”) 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1 during a period of 4 weeks relating to:
(i) the likely effects on the proper planning and sustainable development of the area of the proposed alteration, and
(ii) the likely effects on the environment of the proposed alteration.
Any submission/observation must be accompanied by a fee of €50 (except for certain prescribed bodies). There is no fee required to make a submission in relation to those parties/individuals who have already made a valid written submission to the Board in relation to the proposed alteration and/or the original application (under reference number JA0029).
Submission or observations must be received by the Board not later than 5:30p.m. on the 10th February 2021. Such submissions/observations must also include the following information:
(i) the name of the person making the submission or observation, the name of the person acting on his or her behalf, if any, and the address to which any correspondence relating to the submission or observation should be sent,
(ii) the subject matter of the submission or observation, and
(iii) the reasons, considerations and arguments on which the submission or observation is based in full.
Any submissions or observations which do not comply with the above requirements cannot be considered by the Board.
