Private Vehicles

Documentation required when paying motor tax on a private vehicle.

At the moment, motor tax offices do not request NCT certificates before issuing tax discs. Customers are advised, however, that they are still obliged to have their vehicle NCT tested. Vehicles over four years old must have a valid NCT disc, which needs to be renewed every two years after.
