In accordance with the provisions of Section 11 of the Roads Act, 1993, Wicklow County Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE of its intention to consider the making of a Declaration that the roads listed hereunder be public roads.
Bray
The road to be known as ‘Station Road’, starting at its junction with the L-1951 to its junction with the L-19710, located in the townland of Bray, Co. Wicklow.
Greystones/Delgany
The road to be known as ‘School Road’; for 93m starting at its junction with the L-1026 located in the townland of Coolagad, Co. Wicklow.
The road to be known as ‘Kindlestown Upper Road North’; starting at its junction with the L-1027 to its connection to the L-1026, located in the townlands of Kindlestown Upper and Coolagad, Co. Wicklow.
The road to be known as ‘Cherry Orchard Lane’; for its full length starting at its junction with the R-761, located in the townland of Delgany, Co. Wicklow.
The road to be known as ‘Eden Gate Road’; starting at its junction with the L-5027 to a point 329m north of its junction with the L-5027, located in the townland of Farrankelly, Co. Wicklow.
Kilcoole
The road to be known as ‘Ballycrone Road’; starting at its junction with the R-761 to its junction with the L-5551, located in the townlands of Creowen and Ballycrone, Co. Wicklow.
The road to be known as ‘Holywell Avenue; starting at its junction with the L-5551 to its junction with the L-5046, located in the townlands of Cooldross Middle, Kilcoole and, Ballydonarea, Co. Wicklow.
Newtownmountkennedy
The road to be known as ‘Moneycarroll Road’; starting with its junction with the R-772 to its junction with the R765, located in the townland of Moneycarroll, Co. Wicklow.
The road to be known as ‘Monalin Road’; starting with its junction with the R-772 to its junction with the R765, located in the townlands of Monalin and Newtown Mt. Kennedy, Co. Wicklow.
Wicklow/Rathnew
The road to be known as ‘Merrymeeting-Ballybeg’; starting with its junction with the R-772 to its connection to the L-5392, located in the townlands of Broomhall, Ballynabarny, Merrymeeting and, Ballybeg, Co. Wicklow.
Maps of the roads to be declared public may be inspected at the following offices of Wicklow County Council during normal opening hours between the dates 10th February and 10th March 2025:
