Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act 1998 Wicklow County Council being the relevant Housing Authority specified under the Act intends to prepare a new Traveller Accommodation Programme for the period 2025 – 2029.
In accordance with the provisions of the above Act, Wicklow County Council intends to carry out an assessment of the existing and projected accommodation needs for members of the Travelling Community in its functional area.
Any person or organisation who wishes to make a submission in respect of the intention to carry out an assessment of the existing and projected Traveller Accommodation needs is invited to do so via email to tobrien@wicklowcoco.ie or in writing in a sealed envelope marked “Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025 – 2029”and addressed to Senior Executive Officer Housing and Corporate Estate, Wicklow County Council, County Buildings Station Road, Wicklow to be received no later than 4 pm on Monday 19th February.
