Bray Harbour

Information on Bray Harbour, which is used solely for leisure activities.

Bray Harbour is located at the mouth of the Dargle River, in the Little Bray locality. It is approximately ten miles south of Dublin Bay, and is the most northern harbour in Co. Wicklow. The harbour is utilised for solely marine leisure activities. It is a popular area for leisurely walks, with many people taking time out to enjoy the swan sanctuary.

Although it is a small harbour, it is a vibrant and active one with many leisure activities taking place throughout the year. The clubs utilising this amenity include Bray Sailing Club, Bray Sea Anglers, Bray Sea Scouts, Bray Youth services, Row-A-Round and Bray Veteran Kayakers. There is a large active membership in these clubs. A local water sports adventure company also arranges and manages their many water activities in the harbour.

Bray Train Station is a short distance walk away from this busy marine facility. A coffee shop and bistro are located beside the harbour, with many more restaurants and amenities situated on the Bray seafront, which is adjacent to the harbour.
