‘Perdu’ is planned to be a web series, to be written by Paul Flynn, directed by John McNally and produced by Brian Matthews Murphy.

A body is found in an abandoned house in Wicklow. Reilly is the detective on the scene. Alongside the body, a notebook is found with information relating to Reilly’s personal life. He must solve the puzzle before disaster strikes him and his family.

His investigation will take him all over County Wicklow. Can he solve the mystery with the help of his sidekick Turner, a hapless new recruit who takes a sideline view of every situation. The Pathologist, Dr. Sanders, who is there at every discovery to unearth the truth. Frank the Pathologists assistant, there to resentfully do the dirty work. Or the Journalist, Tara, who will stop at nothing to get the real story.

Artist’s Biography:

Brian Matthews Murphy is an actor and filmmaker from Bray.

He is an actor writer and film maker who has written, produced, and directed numerous short films, including ‘An Dearg Doom’, ‘Second Chance’, ‘Where’s Sami’ and ‘Boxed In’, which have been selected for numerous festivals around the world and in Ireland.

He set up and coordinates North Wicklow Film Makers (known as No WiFi). The group consists of people from all walks of life, experience level and skillset. More than 60 group projects have been made so far and over 100 people have been involved.

He is currently producing the ‘Perdu’ web series as well as other short projects.
